Don't excuse your road ahead with money
不要用钱来为自己找借口
I read a graffiti near my house, with a dollar sign inside the word "freedom." It got me thinking - which should come first? Money or freedom?
What is freedom? It comes from knowing your clear road ahead, even when living with challenges or in difficult conditions.
Where does money come from? Money follows you when you follow your road. How do you know your road ahead? Be inspired by those around you, but ultimately, the decision is yours. Freedom without purpose is not freedom; it's laissez-faire. Purposeful freedom is a blessing, and it should come first.
With purposeful freedom, money works for you. However, money without purpose enslaves you and hooks your emotions up and down like an elevator.
In traditional Chinese medicine, there's a theory that if your symptoms are urgent, you should treat the secondary; if not, treat the primary. Money is secondary; freedom is primary. If you need money for an emergency, get it right away. Freedom without money is hard to sustain, while money without freedom is easy to lose.
Don't use pursuing money as an excuse to delay knowing your road ahead. I once asked a client about his goal, and he said he had none, as if he went wherever the car brought him. But what if one day he wanted to go home? He said he had no home or loved ones. Living without purpose, home, or loved ones is not freedom; it's escape. It's worth exploring in-depth.
Your current path is not your destination; it's only your transfer station, which will evolve with your personal development. When does it end, then? From Microsoft's Windows 1.0 in 1985 to Windows 365 in 2021, the purpose has been to bring convenience to people, and the evolution continues.
So, what's the purpose of your evolution?

不要用追逐金钱为借口来推迟了解自己的前路。我曾经问一个客户的目标是什么，他说他没有，好像他随车去哪里就是哪里。但是，如果有一天他想回家呢？他说他没有家庭或亲人。没有目的、没有家庭、没有亲人的生活不是自由，而是逃避。值得深入探讨。
你当前的道路不是你的终点站，它只是你的换乘站，随着你的个人发展而不断发展。那么，它什么时候结束呢？从1985年的微软Windows 1.0到2021年的Windows 365，目的都是为人们带来便利，演变不止。
